The music from Michael Baumann has without a doubt the very same character. Lets just call it inspiration! Regardless of whether as Soulphiction, Jackmate or as Manmade Science, like clockwork you can be sure of the result: soul satisfaction! The best part of these contemporaneous compositions is, when the filter of history so heavily strains, Michels electric constructions remain simple and transfuse an authentic feeling for a real live and bowing between womp, swish and womp. Few and far in between is the brand of failure which usually accompanies an attempt to describe the music of Soulphiction. So much of it has to do with you ‚ but to the point: every time there is that firmly deep, rolling shit for the mind beaming with joy and for liquid movement. At the same time the leisure and calmness which stems from the creative focus of the beat poetry of his being is only further underscored.
